Why I Use Healing Sound Frequencies

At ILIT, we believe in using every powerful and harmless tool available to help your mind and body heal or be better.

One of those tools is SOUND, not just music, but specific healing frequencies that are known to help you relax, focus, and recover from stress, pain, or emotional blocks.

What Are Those
Healing Sound Frequencies?

Healing frequencies are specific sound vibrations—measured in Hertz (Hz)—that affect your brainwaves and nervous system in a positive way. Just like music can change your mood, these frequencies go deeper, helping your brain and body return to a natural state of balance.

At ILIT, the soundscapes used in your recording are custom-made, crafted with intention and precision. We carefully layer these unique frequencies into your personalized audio session, designed just for you and your healing goals—whether you're working on anxiety, sleep, pain, confidence, or habit change.

This is How It Works

When you listen to sound, your brain responds—just like how a song can make you feel happy, sad, or energized.

Healing sound frequencies do more than just shift your mood.

They can gently guide your brain into a specific state, like:

  • 🧠 Alpha waves (8–12 Hz): Calm focus and relaxation

  • 😌 Theta waves (4–8 Hz): Deep meditation and subconscious healing

  • 😴 Delta waves (0.5–4 Hz): Deep sleep and body restoration

  • ✨ Solfeggio tones (like 528 Hz): Often called the “love frequency,” used for emotional release and cellular healing

When these frequencies play in the background of your hypnosis audio, your brain naturally follows along—this is called brainwave entrainment. It’s like tuning your inner system to the right station for healing.

Science Spotlight: Why does it work?

Effect of Specific Hz Sounds on the Endocrine System and Autonomic Nervous System

One of published studies in the journal Health found that music tuned to 528 Hz has measurable stress-reducing effects on the body and mind—even after just five minutes of listening.

In the study, participants listened to music tuned to 528 Hz and standard 440 Hz on different days. The researchers measured stress hormones like cortisol and chromogranin A, and the “feel-good” hormone oxytocin, using saliva samples. They also tracked changes in the autonomic nervous system (which controls your heart rate, breathing, and relaxation).

Key Findings:
  • Cortisol (stress hormone) dropped after listening to 528 Hz

  • Oxytocin (the love/trust hormone) increased

  • Participants reported less anxiety and better mood

  • Changes in heart rate variability showed deep nervous system relaxation

  • These benefits did not occur with 440 Hz music

What This Means:

Music tuned to 528 Hz may activate your body’s natural healing systems—calming the nervous system, lowering stress, and supporting emotional well-being.

That’s why I custom-tune and layer these healing frequencies into your personalized ILIT recordings—to help you relax deeper, heal faster, and feel better from the inside out.
